ndrea lee is a rising LPGA Tour Star, highlighted by her winning her first tournament in the Portland Classic in 2022. Lee has been a champion on all levels. She won 9 matches during her collegiate days at Standford University. She also was able to stay for 17 weeks straight in the top spot of the Women's Amateur World rankings. The Mark H. McCormack Trophy was given to her after she finished her year as the number one female amateur. After that she was a professional. Andrea Lee is a Los Angeles native, born in the month of the month of August, 1998. James his father, James started teaching her how to play golf when she was five years old. As a young girl when she began competing in tournaments. She was awarded 50 championships when she was a junior player in just four years. She qualified for the 2014 US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. Her father accompanied her to the tournament at the age of 15 as caddie. She received a sponsors invite to attend the 2015 ANA Inspiration on the LPGA Tour but was unable to make the cut by one stroke. Lee played for the USA in the Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team and in Women's World Amateur Team Championship. Lee became Stanford's most accomplished golfer in the history of the university in 2016, when she received nine championships over the next three years. Lee quit Stanford University and turned pro in the year 2019. Her record for amateur golf included 17 weeks on the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Lee has also been awarded the Mark H. McCormack Award for 2019, after completing the year at the top of amateur rankings. Lee's record as an amateur comprised four holes in one as well as one albatross. Her debut year with the LPGA Tour saw her finish with two places in the top 10 players. She finished seventh in the AIG Women's Open 2020, which was held at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee took home her first LPGA Tour title at the 2022 Portland Classic. She dedicated it to her grandfather Min who passed away in 2012.
